Benefit Resource, Inc. specializes in pre-tax benefit administration and is located in Henrietta, NY. We currently have a single HR Manager overseeing all aspects of HR for 150 employees. So, this year, we are very excited to bring aboard our very first HR intern! Currently, we are looking to identify an individual who would be interested in supporting this HR Manager for three months for approximately 32 hours per week. Dates, schedule, and hours requirements are flexible.
This position will be instrumental in a major HR project involving full file reviews and audits of 200+ employee files. The goal of this project will be to assist HR leadership in:
Being compliant and mitigating risk or exposure to the organization
Building a database of prior experience and education to support targeted recruitment sourcing
Developing HR analytics to help drive and support various HR and compensation initiatives
There is also an opportunity to support recruitment and other engagement initiatives including recognition, wellness, and event management that the HR Manager is currently working on.
The HR Manager is committed to making this a worthwhile learning experience for the right candidate and through all assignments will share expertise gained from a Master’s level education and PHR certification in HR as well as over 6 years of experience in HR.
The ideal candidate will be a junior or senior in an accredited institution of learning (undergraduate or graduate) majoring in HR Management or Business Management. Prior internship experience in an office setting, preferably in a HR or legal environment, is ideal.
A successful candidate will be highly organized with great attention-to-detail. The right candidate for BRI will also be motivated, driven, and passionate about HR while maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality of information which they will come across in this role. As most of this work will revolve around compilation of data from paper forms into spreadsheets, experience with Microsoft Excel is an essential requirement. Pivot table experience may be desirable. The ideal candidate may have prior data entry experience or comfort with standard office equipment and technology.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Associate to work in our Stillwater, NY location. As an Accounts Receivable Associate you will be responsible for computing, classifying and recording numerical data to keep financial records complete. You may be asked to perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain financial data for us in maintaining accounting records.
Accounts Receivable: Work directly with customers on billing and payment inquiries, process customer payments, update customer records as needed, collection efforts, prepare and send customer invoices, statements and aging reports. Other accounts receivable duties as assigned.

Responsible for assisting with export documentation preparation and expediting (internal and external) and special projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
80% Assists Export Coordinator with shipping documentation (packaging, carrier and required export paperwork) to ensure customer product is delivered correctly. Receives, enters and processes customer orders, prepares pro forma invoices for customer quotations. Monitors status of customer orders. Interfaces with Manufacturing Director (internally) and Freight Forwarders (externally). Uses Microsoft Excel to analyze data. Prepares reports and reconciles them for Accounting Department. Researches taxes, duties and freight requirements for export and imports.
20% Completes special projects, as assigned. Communicates with partners in China.

JOB TITLE: Intern, Provider Performance
STATUS: Part-time-flexible 20 hours or up
NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK: Flexible, 20 or more per week up to 37.50 hours summer months.
TIMEFRAME JOB AVAILABLE: year-long
The intern will support the development and roll-out of an enterprise provider performance management platform. They will be responsible for research, analysis, manual report production and conducting quality assurance. Additional responsibilities may include requirement gathering and documentation, report design and roll-out support. The intern will performs other duties as assigned. The intern will gain exposure to health insurance network, product and value-based payment strategy, as well gain an understanding of provider performance evaluation.
Pursuing a Master’s degree in healthcare analytics, healthcare management, public health, clinical degree or M.B.A especially with a focus in health care or related field. A student attending Clarkson University in Schenectady or University at Albany School of Public Health would be ideal.
