Primary Function and Scope: Creates internal and customer facing software tools with a team of engineers in multiple disciplines. Duties & Responsibilities:  Produce software to reduce business workload that is efficient, rock solid, and fun. Produce software for our customers that is engaging and reliable. Ensure product codebase is maintained to our increasing standards of quality.   Essential Functions Work with a team to implement internal business tools. Implement HTML5/CSS/JS intuitive and attractive user interfaces for internal and customer facing web applications, in C# Assist with implementation of Data APIs written in C# Assist with implementation of Data sources against multiple database sources, including SQL Server, Progress, and MariaDB Write technical and user documentation as required for all custom software projects. Provide support as required for escalated user issues Observe safety procedures. Any other task assigned by management within scope of position, federal and state regulations.   Qualification Requirements :   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.(1)   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Working toward BS Degree in the field of computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or related fields. Experience with C#, HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript for creating dynamic web forms and creating data driven web interfaces. Experience with SQL and writing queries for various database systems. Technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards associated with enterprise level hardware and software, including MS Windows, MS Office and database management software. Technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware. Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Ability to read and understand business process documentation and requirements, and translate into technical requirements.     LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Good command of the English language.  Effective verbal and written communication skills required.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and the ability to write reports is required.               CHARACTERISTICS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB:   Dependability – reliable; timely completion of assignments Flexibility – willing to work as required to meet project deadlines Ability to Work Well with Others Organizational Skills – maintain orderly system files; multi-task Detail-Oriented – high-level of attention to details to ensure accuracy Ability to Follow Directions Positive, Customer-Service Oriented Attitude Resourceful & Creative Problem Solving/Analysis Skills – provide workable solutions     MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to work in decimal, octal, hexadecimal and binary numbering systems.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and to calculate scaling factors, proportions, percentages, rates and ratios.             REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.             Physical Demands:   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.(1)   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
